Familia Zuccardi

Familia Zuccardi is a family company founded in 1963 by Engineer Alberto Zuccardi. He began planting vines in Maipú (a province of Mendoza), experimenting with an irrigation system of his own creation based on a method used in California. Zuccardi wines expresses the essence of the soils and the extreme climate conditions and altitude in which the vineyards are planted. Forty five years after the starting point of this path, there are now three generations joined by a passion for wine. The growth and development of the Zuccardi range was lead by Sebastián Zuccardi, who has commited to elaborate wines with unique identity through the exploration of the terroir in the Uco Valley. In September 2007, the prestigious magazine DECANTER acknowledged José Alberto and Sebastián Zuccardi as being among the five most influential personalities of Argentine Wine.
