With almost 100 Ha under vine with half the vineyards farmed organically, Giscours is a larger than normal estate sat on gravel beds to the very south of the appellation, a benefit in the cool and wet conditions of 2021 that grew worse the more northerly you went in the Medoc. Enjoy with braised ox cheek with a red wine sauce and roasted sweet potato.
Aged in 50% new oak for 12 months.
