A classic Pauillac. Rich and fragrant in style, with delicious black fruits that open and swell in the mouth, almost sweetening as the wine opens. Layers of complex spice, minerals, roasted berry, mulled wine notes and vanilla all appear and dissolve. This is a superb Clerc, showing a distinct suave character even at this early stage and hinting at a long life.
