Tasting Notes

Dark purple and vibrant, the bouquet immediate and loaded with concentrated whiffs of blackberry. The palate is rich and velvety with charming black fruits, ripe plums and overtones of liquorice, balanced by a juicy acidity. Exceptionally long on the mouth, this is a moreish wine punching hard.

Food Matches

A perfect partner for roast rack of lamb served pink.

Vinification

Fermented plot by plot, in small stainless and cement vats with manual pumping over and punching of the caps. Yields of 25hl/ha. The wine is aged for 18 months in fine-grained French oak barrels (35% new)
