Château Doisy-Védrines, the largest of the Doisy estates and a 2ème Cru Classé Barsac property has been owned by the Castéja family since 1946. Doisy-Védrine's 27 hectares of vineyards are situated on the highest plateau in Barsac.
The 2013 vintage in the appellation of Sauternes was an excellent one. The wine is fresh, and displays wonderful and plentiful aromas of fresh pineapple, mango and other citrus fruits. The wine is well balanced, with not too much sugar in the mouth which gives the wine finesse and a wonderful character.
