Château Liot

This 25-hectare property has been in the David family for several generations and is currently run by Jean-Gérard David. Although it is labelled Sauternes, it is actually situated on the Haut-Barsac plateau on typical red clay over limestone soils, in the commune of Barsac, next to Château Climens.
A bright golden colour, the nose displays a wonderful aromatic clarity and the palate is rich with concentrated pineapple, ripe apricot and juicy peach. It is aged in oak barrels for 18 months.
A wonderful wine to be served as an aperitif, or equally a superb accompaniment to blue cheese and desserts.
