Château Fuissé

This is undoubtedly the aristocratic domaine of Fuissé. Now under the control of brother and sister, Antoine Vincent and Bénédicte Tuinder-Vincent, son and daughter of Jean-Jacques Vincent. Whilst Antoine is now the winemaker at this great property, his sister runs the commercial side along with her husband, Philip Tuinder. The domaine holds 30ha of vines in total, in Pouilly-Fuissé, St Veran, Macon and Julienas. The wines are epitomized by fat, rich fruit, whose weight is perfectly balanced with a consistently outstanding backbone of tight acidity.

The nose is incredibly intense and complex, peach and cream, mango, cereal and integrated oak, all with a tension and tautness that is startling. Amazing!
100% new oak and aged for 9 months, then transferred to steel tanks on fine lees to marry.
