Established in the mid 1700’s, this is one of Bordeaux oldest properties. The 14 hectares of vineyard occupy prime site in the middle of the Pomerol plateau. Alexandre Thienpont is a perfectionist, overseeing one of Pomerol’s top estates, producing sensational wines year after year.

Deeply coloured, with overt plum aromas and a touch of cedar, this is a super, alluring wine that draws you in. The palate is unctuous and filled with sweet cherries, cassis and blueberry purity. The tannins are very fine and carefully crafted, providing a polish and precision that you would expect in VCC. A superb wine of great standing.
