A blend of 8 different parcels covering 5 separate terroirs, the largest being just to the south of the village of Vosne Romanée, on a white limestone soil that gives an intense minerality to the wine. The essence of this wine is Pinot Noir and Burgundian terroir.

Along with Domaine Tollot Beaut this 15 ha domaine was one of the first to bottle its own wines, back in the 1930’s. It is now in the hands of the 5th generation, Etienne Grivot, who produces some of the most classic wines in the whole of Burgundy, with an average vine age of around 45 - 50 years old. The wine leaps from the glass, ripe and forward with spicy and softly sweet black cherry fruit, laced with cherry liquour and sweet oak. The body of the wine is rich, concentrated and finely balanced, with a lovely sharpening freshness that gives the wine such an elegance and poise – very, very good
