Guillaume Camus of Domaine Camus-Bruchon is one of the very finest red winemakers in the Côte de Beaune. Fresh and fragrant this is a delicious, succulent wine oozing ripe blackberry fruits, soft chewy tannins and a lovely freshness too. There is a thick and creamy texture to the palate, almost voluptuous, that makes for a very pleasurable drink. Savigny is a great source of value in Burgundy – you get a lot of bang for your buck!
Hand harvested, destemmed, gently crushed and fermented in 30% new oak (500 litre barrels).
