Potensac is always a great Château to have in your cellar. Great drinking claret that will develop quite early but with a propensity to age.

Château Potensac

From the same stable as Léoville Las Cases, this property is run by Jean-Hubert Delon and is situated in the far north of the Médoc, close to Château Sociando Mallet, and it gets better every year.

Produced by the winemaking team from Château Léoville Las Cases. This vintage sees a much higher level of Cabernet Franc which makes for an interesting wine. Fragrant, fresh cassis aromas as well as a touch of tobacco make for a very attractive bouquet. Medium bodied, this is a very approachable Potensac, quite charming, with blackcurrant fruits, a touch of forest floor and integrated oak notes. A beautifully balanced Claret.
Ideal as an accompaniment to braised beef, a pot roast and grilled asparagus.
Yields of 37hl/ha. Aged in 35% new oak
