Louis Latour

The Latour family have long been established in the Burgundy wine trade, having begun as winegrowers back in 1768 in the village of Aloxe-Corton. They create wines from their own 50 hectare domaine, as well as from the grapes which they purchase through the negociant arm of the business. Their wines have lots of character, intense aromatics and benefit from a long finish.

Lovely garnet in colour. On the nose, the Côte-de-Beaune Villages 2011 reveals aromas of blackcurrant and raspberry. In the mouth it is delicious and very fresh, with notes of spices and red and black berries.
Pair with grilled meats and cheese
Fermentation: Traditional in open vats. 10-12 months ageing in stainless steel vats and oak barrels.
