Rondo Grapes were created in the 1960s in what was then Czechoslovakia, and first planted on a commercial level in Ireland in 1997. Named Rondo in 1999, the grape is currently cultivated primarily in northern Europe, thriving in England, Ireland, The Netherlands and Scandinavia. Rondo often makes wines with a full body, firm structure and underlying rich and vibrant black fruit flavour.
