The GlenAllachie was the 4th distillery designed by William Delme-Evans and built by Mackinlay McPherson. It began its first production run in 1968. In 2017 it was acquired by Billy Walker alongside his business partners Trisha Savage and Graham Stevenson. Just 9 months after taking ownership their first core malts were launched marking the first ever range of single malts to be released by the distillery.
Aromas of dark chocolate, treacle and heather honey, with cinnamon, espresso and sticky raisins in the background. On the palate Marzipan and orchard fruit tones, followed by warming mocha, butterscotch and grated nutmeg.
