Pinkster is brought to us by the rather affable colonel Pinkster. Pinkster is distilled to the company's own recipe using 5 botanticals before being hand-steeped in the raspberries that lend it both its pink hue and subtle fruitiness.

It all came about after ginmeister Stephen started experimenting at home mashing assorted fruits with different spirit strengths. He wasn't intentionally creating a pink drink; it's just that after working his way through an entire fruit bowl raspberry delivered the best flavour. After a year or two foisting the stuff upon unsuspecting friends and family Pinkster teamed up with G&J Distillers. Formed in 1760 and now part of Essential Drinks they're the oldest continuous gin distillers in production today.
Pinkster is deliciously dry, the juniper comes through clearly with only 5 botanicals, but it is neither strong nor overpowering. Instead, the raspberries counteract its sharpness with a gentle fruity flavour. Ends with a wonderfully smooth finish.
