Produced by the Sichel family at their Cave Bel Air winery, this is a modern style white Bordeaux. Bordeaux blanc may not be the most fashionable of wines but if you are a fan of Sauvignon this is a great little wine. The palate is tangy, with ripe white fruit notes, Gala melon, lime, elderflower and tinned pear. There is also a dose of minerality and a little sea salt. So quenching with super varietal typicity. This is a wine to grab, open, and guzzle with gusto – no pretensions, just wonderful clean and refreshing fruit. Who needs Marlborough Sauvignon when you can offer someone a wine with REAL fruit and underlying minerality. No need to wait, summer is nearly here and this wine is ready to drink.
