One of the most popular and well-known Muscat grapes, Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains is named primarily for its colour and the small size of the grapes it produces. Although Muscat à Petits Grains is grown primarily in France, the grape is grown around the world and has many different synonyms, from Moscato Bianco in Italy to Muskat in Germany. Muscat wines are often sweet and full-bodied, and make excellent dessert wines when fortified.
