Pinot Blanc is often overlooked, it is one of the most elegant of wines from the Alsace region. This vintage shows the very slightest hint of honey on the nose and a lemon sole style soft elegance on the palate, in fact the two together would be wonderful.

Producer Notes

Established in 1957 this is a cooperative of 200 small growers that work 240 hectares of vineyards; all growers are within three kilometres of the cellar. As this is the second most northern wine producing region of France and often succumbs to problematic conditions, this is vitally important, as is the policy of ‘no machine harvesting’. This is a very strong producer that offers excellent quality at very sensible prices.
