In Bond
Wines offered are lying in bond in Hull, and these wines will attract a charge for the Excise duty (currently £22.08 per 12 bottle case) and VAT, when the wine is taken out of bond.
Storage
We will be pleased to store your wines in our secure Bonded warehouse in Hull, if you so wish. The rental is 5 pence per case per week, and for stored wines we make an administration charge of £10 for withdrawals from bond, irrespective of the number of cases withdrawn. (This charge includes any rental up to £10.00).
Insurance
Please ensure that if you decide to leave your wines in our Hull No 9 Bond that you take out the appropriate insurances.
The House of Townend reserve the right to refuse removal of any stock held in Hull Number 9 Bond if the customer is outside the agreed trading terms and offset any value against outstanding monies on the customer's trading account.
